VEDA is a collection of hymns and other ancient religious texts written in India between about 1500 and 1000 BCE. It includes elements such as liturgical material as well as mythological accounts, poems, prayers, food and formulas considered to be sacred by the Vedic religion. India has consistently revered its ancient traditions and customs and Indian gastronomy is distinctive, with the fundamentals of cooking, the ingredients and general method of preparation setting the guidelines.

In the VEDA it is said that “From earth sprang herbs, from herbs food, from food seed, from seed man.” Therefore, according to the great Aryan cosmic cycle, the eater, the food he eats and the universe must be in harmony.
VEDA is an experience from which people will take back flavors and tastes of the glorious food of the vastly diverse richly blessed Indian Sub Continent. At VEDA, a ‘dinner out’ is transformed into an exclusive ‘dining experience’ and it is here that one realizes that Indian food does not lack any of the subtleties that make a nation’s food transform from being just ‘food’ to fine cuisine.

VEDA growth has been inspired with the passion to cook and serve healthy, Indian-inspired takeout cuisine. Unlike other Indian restaurants, VEDA was created with the specific intention to be different.
The cuisine is a contemporary interpretation of classic Indian cooking. Utterly authentic and yet also of the times we live in. Each one of the dishes is reflective of a commitment to preserving authenticity, identity and to ensuring a stirringly sumptuous culinary adventure. Everywhere, there are aspects of the creative genius that is India.
